World Youth International (WYI) UK is a not-for-profit charitable organisation, incorporated and regulated by Companies House and is subject to charity law. Our financial records and other filings are submitted to Companies House annually.
We do not receive any government funding and rely on our volunteers and the generous donations of our community of supporters, which allows our work to continue.
We are proud of the fact that any profit our organisation makes at the end of each year goes straight back into funding our international development work overseas. Examples of this work include The World Youth International School and Sapana Dreaming Centre for Humanity in Nepal, and Mama Ann’s Odede Community Health Centre in Kenya.
OUR INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
Globally we have worked over many years to build strong and meaningful partnerships with in-country organisations and communities in the countries we work in, and we value partnerships that reflect community-driven solutions to poverty.
WYI Kenya and WYI Nepal are independent organisations working in partnership with WYI UK and WYI Australia. Each has their own governance structures and are audited by the Governments of Kenya and Nepal respectively.
Field offices operating in other locations are also operated independently and in partnership with WYI, allowing our development work and volunteer programs to be implemented effectively.
