World Youth International Australia was founded in 1988 by the late Robert Hoey, and has since facilitated meaningful volunteer opportunities for more than 3,000 volunteers, and provided access to basic services such as healthcare and education for more than 40,000 people across the globe.
World Youth International now operates in the UK, Australia, Kenya and Nepal. We are committed to sharing Robert's vision with people across the world; providing education, healthcare and life changing opportunities.
World Youth International UK, registered in the UK as a non profit organisation, is a subsidiary of the parent organisation, World Youth International Australia.
At the heart of all our work is a commitment to community-led, sustainable development projects, and a belief in the power of volunteers to create real impact.
Together with our partners and volunteers, we provide education, training and healthcare in developing countries around the world; assisting local people to earn an income and break the cycle of poverty.
